Sweet Love Bonbon

As you know, I’m learning how to make amigurumi. To celebrate Valentine’s Day I crafted one of my favorite treats: a bonbon! It’s my first pattern, and I wish to share it with you. I hope it sweetens your day and fills your life with joy!





Abbreviations:

Sc: single crochet
Ch(s): chain(s)
St(s): stitch(es)
Tg: together

Important: work in continuous rounds (do not join).


Materials:

  • pink yarn
  • crochet hook
  • yarn needle
  • fiberfill
  • red felt (for heart)

Bonbon

Make magic ring.
Round 1:  work 6 sc
Round 2:  work 2 sc in each st around
Round 3:  *2 sc in next st, sc in next st*; repeat from * to * around
Round 4:  *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts*; repeat from * to * around
Round 5 - 10:  sc in each st around
Round 11:  *sc 2 tog, sc in next 2 sts*; repeat from * to * around
Round 12:  *sc 2 tog, sc in next st*; repeat from * to * around
Round 13:  (sc 2 tog) around
Fasten off.

Wrapper (make 2)
Make 2 chs.
Round 1:  work 4 sc in first ch
Round 2:  work 2 sc in each st around
Round 3:  sc in each st around
Round 4: work 2 sc in each st around
Round 5: sc in each st around
Fasten off.

These are the parts of your bonbon

Sew a wrapper to each end of the bonbon.

Sew or glue the felt heart on top of the candy.
Have fun and decorate it however you want!
